Learning Objectives:

1. Practice three “best practices” that will improve classroom connections and compassion and can be implemented immediately in your classrooms.
2. Analyze current data on the mental health of teachers and students nationwide.
3. Identify practical everyday items that can be used in the classroom to promote a sensory-based approach to social-emotional development.
4. Learn how to introduce, maintain and encourage the use of Calm Down Corners in the classroom successfully.
